Each of the characters has their own strengths and weaknesses and players will be able to utilise their skills to help them solve the different puzzles that crop up during the course of the game. Gamers will be able to play as one of six different characters, which helps to make the game play rich and varied.
The ice is exchanged for dense and steamy jungles complete with mysterious plants and deadly dinosaurs that seem to want nothing more than to feast on our heroes. This time, the gang takes a step away from the icy tundra and is faced with the world of the dinosaurs. Like the film, the game has a great sense of humour and the characters really come to life with their personalities and realistic movements. The storyline and missions are based on the film of Ice Age 3 and this serves as a great introduction to the film for fans who haven’t watched it yet. The game reunites players with Ice Age characters such as Sid, Scrat, Diego and many and sends them on a whole new quest. Read on to discover if the third instalment manages to pack more of a punch. While the other two games were generally well received by younger players, older gamers found that they left a little to be desired.
